An intoxicating smell of hot engine oil and burned rubber hangs about this site.

Small wonder for the author of this meeting place for car nuts wants to convey the flavour of 60’ s,70’ s and 80’ s car races through his collection of period photographs.

There is a plethora of (mainly unpublished) photos to choose from,from formula one to touring car races but also the worlds sports car championship of the time,including the legendary Le Mans 24 hours race.

Cars like the Cooper S,the NSU TT,the Porsche 917 and the Ferrari 512 made the motor racing fans swoon back then! Superb pictures which every motor racing fan should see.

Daniel Hendrickx

He is a passionate car lover and a self-tought professional motor sports photographer who spent well nigh over 10 years travelling to all major motor racing circuits in Europe.

His work has been published in the Belgian motor racing press of the time,in particular the weekly “Sports Moteurs” and the monthly “Virage Auto” which were widely read by Belgian fans at the time.

During his spell as motor sports photographer, Daniel Hendrikx has covered almost every national and international event that took place in the 60’ s,70’s  Jochen Rindt,Jackie Stewart,Emerson Fittipaldi and of course Belgium’s own Jacky Ickx-all these have at the time been photographed in action by Daniel Hendrickx  whilst performing those motor sport feats that made them immortal.
